Radium Engineering Dry Break Probe Restrictor 1in

Radium Engineering Dry Break Probe Restrictor 1in Designed to meet sanctioning bodies such as WRL (World Racing League) and ZRS (Zenith). Machined from 6061 aluminum and type-II anodized for corrosion resistance. For tech inspection, the laser engraving "1-IN RESTRICTOR" displays compliance. The press-fit outer diameter is 1.24" (31.6mm) making it compatible with most 1.5" dry break probes.

ZRS RULE

6.2. "The fueling path must include a 1.00-inch (25.4mm) internal diameter restrictor between the container and the filler/dry-break. ZRS may audit and inspect resictor size in tech or the pit lane at any time."

WRL RULES

D.3.j. "The narrowest point of the hose, nozzle or funnel spout must be no larger than 1.000" inside diameter and made of a solid material."

D.3.m. "For any cars utilizing a quick disconnect/dry break for overflow, no larger than 1.000" restriction must be in place between QD/DB and container. 1" restrictors must also be in place on the vent side of a double-drybreak system where the vent recycles back into the dump can. Vent jugs must be clearly marked per D.3.a."

INSTALLATION

Press-fit the restrictor into the dry break probe inlet. Install the replacement tubing to the dry break and dump can barbs. NOTE: If pinch clamp pliers are not available, diagonal cutters can be used to cinch down the clamps.
